Life is beautiful and mysterious. The more you open to the mystery, the more beautiful it becomes. The more you open to the beauty, the more mysterious it becomes.
And yes, in fits, and starts, and sometimes for insufferably extended episodes, life is also incredibly hard and truly terrifying.
But surely it is no surprise that such beauty and mystery demand an exacting price?
So celebrate this New Year, and declare your forward intention.

Remember also and especially to celebrate the eight great ancient ceremonies, the Equinoxes, the Solstices, and the four other cross-quarter days on the pagan great wheel. And remember that as we celebrate one in the North, we celebrate its opposite in the South. So sublimely perfect.
