The Border

The border between past and future, life and death, light and dark cannot be found. However long you search for it, you will never be able to touch some line that separates these pairs of opposites. It does not exist. It is an ever-receding mirage. It is not a line "between," it is a magical line that is, at once, both a closed circle and an infinitely open-ended spiral.

You will never stand on one side or the other. It would be an impossibility, "you" and "now" are the line itself. And yet, both "you" and "now" are just placeholders -- for a perpetual flow of quantum events. Yes. If you follow these words to their self-unraveling, you will arrive at an unspeakable truth. But don't succumb to fear or doubt along the way. Love will be with you, and laughter.
