There can be knowledge and intellect without love, but no intelligence without love. Likewise, there can be passion and attachment without love, but no love without intelligence.
Whatever is not loving is not intelligent, whatever is not intelligent is not love. They are divine, this is divine, and all life (animal, plant, mineral) is the expression of the divine.
The divine NEEDS to be recognized, and creation is the mirror in which it recognizes itself. Ignorance and suffering are the reality of the mirror-making process.
In the end, in this divine self-recognition of the whole in the particular and the particular in the whole, ignorance and suffering are transformed.
But just as human is made in the image of the divine, so to must human recreate that mirror-making process, each of us in our own lives, in our own ways, on our own paths.
